"Fwends" is the third release by chiptune artist Lucca (MarsCat). This time stepping forward into 16bit-era inspired music, Lucca approaches chip music not as a genre but as a framework in which to work genres ranging from ancient raag jams to ambient music, electropop, synthwave and tiny wittle minimalist tunes; everything made from samples and chip emulations into something that transcends the limitations of the genre and becomes its own thing.
