Brett Siler excellent album that displays Mars Cat's eclectic taste and wide range as a musician and conposer. I love the track "we'll never be your friends". Its a fun upbeat alternative dance track that I found myself listening to on repeat and getting me pumped for my day ahead of me. Favorite track: We'll Never Be Your Friends (Album Version).

about

IMPORTANT: I was only partially paid for the work I did on this soundtrack album, and therefore I don't endorse the film, the director, OR the production company that produced it. I also don't stand by my work on this album, as it was hastily done, as I was given no time by the filmmakers to do a proper release. In any case, most of the better songs on this frankenstein of an album are available on other releases, in their proper context.

UPDATES
2016-11-3 – Added "Wittle (Intro)" as I discovered that the track was featured on the film's intro/audio test. Also added "Secret Chiefs (a cappella)".
2017-11-22 – Added new mix of "Trascender".

This is the official soundtrack release of the music from Constitución, the first virtual reality feature film to be released in Chile and in the world.

Featuring new original music composed for and inspired by the film by MarsCat, channeled through some of her mainstay music projects, and previously released MarsCat songs handpicked by director Leo Medel to be the basis for the actual film itself.

Taking influences from latin music, drone metal, Bollywood scores, synthwave, noise and experimental jazz, this release attempts to recreate the nightmare of Constitución from the pictures to sound, to become a visual trip of its own.

Huge thanks to Leonardo Medel and everyone who worked on the film; to Keiichi Suzuki, John Zorn, Trey Spruance and John Carpenter for all the new bridges they developed between music and cinema; to Falz, Emilie Sovis and all of my supporters and fwends; and Mnemot (Javier Carcamo) for being the great catalyst of this adventure.
